French ‘er’ verbs
The ‘er’ group of verbs is the largest group of verbs in French. The verbs are used mostly in French conversation and therefore it is important to have mastery over these verbs. In this topic, we shall discuss French ‘er’ verbs in their simple present and present continuous tense. Remember that in French, these two tenses are made in the same way.
The ‘er’ verbs take the following endings in their conjugated form:
- Je – e
- Tu – es
- Il/Elle – e
- Nous – ons
- Vous – ez
- Ils/Elles – ent
